Features & Benefits
Feature: Operator Seat
Benefit: The seat swivels 90 degrees manually and has a 45 degree stop to the right for a better and more comfortable view of the rear attachment. In addition, it has an adjustable backrest that allows the operator to adjust the seat to the most comfortable position and has an adjustable armrest for more comfortable operation and reduced operator fatigue. The seat slides forward and backward to accommodate different sized operators.

Feature: Operator Station
Benefit: Tilt steering wheel adjusts 30 degrees to allow easy access to the seat and to allow the operator to easily adjust the height of the wheel for added comfort. The operator can see all four tires and easily enter and exit to the left and right. Features grouped controls on the right side that are easily within reach to simplify operation.

Feature: Multifunction Joystick
Benefit: Controls the following functions with a flip of a switch: 1)backfill blade (raise and lower, tilt and swing) 2)rear attachment (raise and lower) and 3)creep. Reduces the number of controls needed and reduces training time. Increases ease-of-operation by allowing the operator to set the creep speed for optimum trenching. Lessens the need to have several levers and parts to control attachments.

Feature: Auto Creep
Benefit: Contributes to ease-of-use by eliminating the need to constantly monitor ground-speed conditions. Allows the operator to concentrate on trenching and steering, rather than ground-speed. Benefits the operator by optimizing ground-drive speed in tough conditions.

Feature: Backhoe Remote Controls
Benefit: The backhoe station is equipped with remote tractor controls including the following six functions: throttle, creep, backfill blade lift, engine shutoff, engine start and park brake. The operator is able to start and stop the engine without leaving the backhoe seat. This results in easier operation and reduction of unnecessary movement from the backhoe station to the operator station. Includes creep control to allow the operator to slowly creep the machine forward or backward in a controlled manner and a park brake control at the operator station that allows the park brake to be applied to minimize movement when digging.

Feature: Backhoe Outriggers
Benefit: Feature flip-over outrigger pads. One side is metal for support while digging in dirt and the other side can be fitted with an optional rubber pad for digging on pavement. Both are secured in place by outrigger Snap-lock supports (in the up position) to prevent lowering during transport.

Feature: B300 Backhoe Design
Benefit: Features load-sense pumps that contribute to smoother operation and increased ease-of-operation when operating mulitiple functions at the same time. Includes a curved boom that provides the ability to lift over obstacles, utilizes box-section fabrication to provide greater strength and to allow digging in harder conditions. Features service-friendly, externally located cylinders and hosing that are easily accessed and Megatuff hoses that are considerably more wear-resistant than regular hoses.

Feature: Fuel and Hydraulic Tanks
Benefit: Tanks have fill points that are located away from the side steps for easy access and safe refueling. Feature a sight glass level indicator (hydraulic tank only) for easy viewing of the tank level. Hydraulic tank has a 28 gal. (106 L) capacity - the largest in its class.

Feature: Enclosed Muffler
Benefit: Muffler is enclosed in the engine compartment and routed through the left side of the frame - away from the operator (while working), reducing the heat and noise that the operator is exposed to while operating backhoe. Visibility from the operator station is improved by eliminating the muffler on the top of the hood. Reduces the exhaust blown into operator's face by relocating the discharge area to the bottom side of machine.

Feature: Trencher
Benefit: Is available with two booms (dirt and rock). Trenches down to 72" (183 cm)deep and 6" - 16" (15 cm - 41 cm) wide and offers the largest throat per square inch in the industry to help reduce clogging. A greaseless trencher pivot eliminates grease zerks and greasless auger bearings reduce maintenance needs. Features greaseless pivots that are ideal for rental yards or operations with multiple operators.
